Sweet baby Jeebus.. Long time no see.. Sorry I haven't been around lately.. Some reasons for that include me being busy, me losing the power cord to my computer, and my basement (where my comp is located) is very cold.. Anyhoo, how's everyone? I hope you're all well..

Hey, I'm back.. Actually, I got out of the hospital a good two weeks ago, but I kept on forgetting to go on LJ.. Heh.. How's everyone doing? I missed some stuff, but I haven't checked the back pages of LJ yet.. So please, fill me in on your lives..

What's been going on with me lately?

I got out of the hospital, like I said (or typed) earlier.. And me being the lucky cow that I am, got a cold just a week after.. I'm trying to recover from that now..

I'm pretty sure everyone has seen those yellow and pink bracelets.. The ones that spread awareness and get donations for Cancer.. Well, it seems we're joining the bandwagon.. The Milan Foundation now has a purple bracelet you can buy to spread CF awareness.. They're going to give their proceeds to CF families in need.. And the CF Foundation is in the process of making a blue one.. I think that's great.. Plus I love the fact that the bracelet says "Breathe Easy".. So yes, we stole the idea, but I still like it.. (Go buy one!)

My niece turned one on the 23rd.. Good Lord she's getting so big.. She's walking around and babbling a mile a minute.. She still doesn't say my name though.. I will get her to say it.. If it's the last thing I do.. She's such a cutie pie.. My sister took her to take family photos, and one of the photographers said she should see if she can get her to do baby modeling.. My sister's ego just got a tiny bit bigger.. LOL.. I don't know if the lady really thought that, or was just saying it to get my sister to buy more pictures, but I'd like to think she was being serious.. I am a proud auntie after all..

I bought "America: The Book" from The Daily Show.. So funny.. I haven't gotten a chance to read a lot of it, but it's hilarious.. Plus, naked old people.. Yay?

Oh, and from one Yankee hater (I'm a Mets fan) to another, CONGRATULATIONS RED SOX!! Take that, you arrogant bastards! *Ahem* Sorry..

I'm not at home at the moment, which kind of explains my lack of updates, but not completely.. My laziness is also a factor.. LOL..

Anyhoo, so I'm here at the hospital again.. Which fucking sucks.. A lot.. I have a feeling that I'll be writing an entry about all of this CF crap.. I keep debating whether I wanna write about all of that stuff in here or not.. It's a little depressing, and I tend to get over it within a day.. On the bright side, I'll be going home in a week or so.. So yay!

School is kinda shaky.. I wound up missing a lot of classes before I even came in here.. Add that to what I'm missing now, and God only knows what will happen this semester.. I emailed my professors though.. Now all I have to do is wait..

My niece is almost 1.. Her birthday is on the 23rd of this month.. She's getting so fricking big.. I'll probably post a picture of her when I get home.. I feel like I should let my sister know that I'm posting pictures of her baby online first.. I'm odd.. Heh..

My mom is painting my room while I'm in here.. Coolness.. I didn't feel like doing it myself.. I hope the color turns out ok.. I told her what I wanted, but I still haven't seen what it looks like..

I freaking LOVE The Daily Show.. Seriously, they've been absolutely hysterical during this whole Indecision 2004 thing.. And I heart Jon Stewart(whaaaaa?) and also Stephen Colbert (it's french, bitch).. It's insane how they've been getting so much publicity lately.. I'm glad though.. It's well deserved.. I wanna get tickets for the show, but I have no idea who I would go with.. No one seems to be a huge fan, like me.. How sucky..

I feel like I haven't been on LJ in ages.. And commented on anyone's LJ in even longer.. Sorry.. I kinda suck at that lately.. I've been skimming some LJ stuff today.. Hopefully everyone is ok.. funkmastermo isn't the only new home owner.. My mom has been trying to buy a house for the past few months and we finally got it.. Woo hoo! We're home owners now!

We're moving out soon.. But we have to paint first, and do some other stuff.. I personally have no idea what to do with my room since it's in the basement, and there's a fricking pole in the middle of the room.. Grr.. My inner interior designer is pissed.. But alas, I shall work around it (probably literally).. We also have a backyard, which will soon (or not so soon, a year :( ) have a dog.. Heh..

I'm so excited, but today I saw a "For Rent" sign, on the front window of my apartment.. It was sad.. That moment where reality sets in.. I'm leaving Corona.. I've lived here for 9 years.. You get attached to a neighborhood.. I'll miss it..

I'm still happy though.. I have a house!
